We just won another legal victory against President Trump (our 33rd win!) — and it's an important case for workers.

Every win against the administration makes dark money special interests and my opponent more determined to defeat me. This time is no different. I need your help to ensure I can withstand their attacks — will you contribute towards my re-election today?

I am proud of this victory and what it means for hardworking Washingtonians.

Because I took the administration to court and won, President Trump’s Department of Labor cannot gut legal protections for workers in the Fair Labor Standards Act.

A federal judge struck down the Trump Administration’s unlawful attempt to unilaterally rewrite the law’s definition of “employer.” The judge ruled the administration “ignored” the law passed by Congress. Thanks to this victory, all covered workers retain core wage and hour protections.

This isn’t the first time I have challenged President Trump’s disregard for working Americans and the rule of law. Unfortunately, it will probably not be the last.

My self-described, “conservative Republican” opponent, on the other hand, proudly supports the president’s illegal policies. He recently said, “I love the policies [President Trump] is adopting. He’s doing great things.” It’s clear he will be a rubber stamp for President Trump.

My opponent and the dark money special interests who support him will stop at nothing to defeat me. I need your support to counter their attacks in these final eight weeks of the election.
