Serana* was born in an impoverished village that traffickers took advantage of. She was just 13 when her cousin sold her. In a notorious red-light district, her life was hell …



Eventually she was shipped to a brothel in Mumbai. She was held against her will there for years.



But then, our Village of Hope in Nepal managed to gain Serana’s freedom.



We took her in, loved her and cared for her, gave her a whole new life. Today she’s in school, serving in the kitchen, even leading fellowship in the home.
