My team just filled me in on our final numbers for August, and because of you, we exceeded our goal!

August was a challenging month for our campaign. It’s a notoriously difficult month to fundraise (especially in a non-election year), and our new Republican opponents forced us to raise our month’s goal.

I’ll be honest, John: I wasn’t sure if we were going to make it.

Thankfully, though, you stepped up and ensured we crossed the finish line strong. I truly can’t express my gratitude for all that you do for this grassroots.
