Closing up shop isn't an option. But at this rate, we're as close as we've ever been.
I know you hate getting these messages. Trust me, I hate sending them just as much.
You might even like the idea of never getting another text or email from me ever again.
But here's the thing: I could never look my kids in the eye and tell them I gave up.
No matter how difficult the fundraising gets.
No matter how much the radical left surges ahead of us.
No matter their vicious attacks or how many millions they raise while we scrape by.
I'm in this for the long haul.
I made a promise to myself, to my wife, and to my children when I became the youngest House Republican:
As long as I live, I will continue to fight to preserve the soul of our country.
At the end of my life, I want to declare that I did all I could to leave this great country better off than it was when I grew up.
I can't even bear the thought of facing my wife, my family, God Himself without having done everything and anything in my power to keep fighting for what's right.
Look, right now fundraising is in the dirt. And we're less than 50 days from one of the biggest elections of our lifetime.
We're behind pace and we're out of time.
The numbers don't lie and the deadline doesn't care about excuses.
But I won't abandon my mission. I won't quit on my kids. I won't walk away from the promise I made.
I'm praying you won't either.
