We’re coming to you today with a bit of a situation and we could use your help. Can we have a chance to explain?
September is going to be one of our most important months of this year. It’s one of our last chances before the election to file a public fundraising report that will show Mitch McConnell and the gun lobby how powerful this movement is.
However, our average donation amount is declining and in the last few days our average donation has been even lower than usual. And with so much on the line in 2020, we can’t afford to slow down now or have a slow month.
So we have two options: we either need more donations or for supporters giving their first donation to give just a bit more than we normally ask for.
Normally, most first time contributors chip in $5. If you would consider contributing $10 we’ll be where we need to make September one of our best months ever.
Your $10 can make a big difference.
When you chip in, we’re able to help candidates fight back against the money flooding into their races from outside groups like the gun lobby.
