JUSTICE 'Career Converations' Webinar Series

We are delighted to invite you to a second round of  our JUSTICE members-only webinar series titled Career Conversations, this time over lunchtimes every week from 17 September to 28 October. Over the course of the series you will have the opportunity to hear from a range of excellent speakers from the JUSTICE membership, sharing their various paths into and through the law. 

Our first conversation will take place this Thursday 17 September from 1-2pm and will be with Dame Maura McGowan DBE. 

                       

Dame Maura McGowan is a High Court Judge. She sits in the Queen’s Bench Division and was a Presiding Judge on the South Eastern Circuit. Dame Maura was Chair of the Bar Council of England and Wales in 2013. She was named Lawyer of the Year by Legal Business in 2014 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Chambers UK in 2016. She is involved in judicial and advocacy training in the UK and abroad, and is on the board of the Criminal Law Review and is a judicial editor of Archbold. Before her appointment to the bench, Dame Maura previously served on the JUSTICE Council.
