Updates from D.C.

Texas mothers are dying, and instead of giving us answers, Abbott’s administration is hiding that data right before the midterms.

Texans deserve the truth. They deserve transparency. And our state officials have a legal obligation to give it to them.

I’m demanding the report be released immediately.

REPUBLICANS ARE COWARDS.

This shouldn’t be a partisan issue — but Republicans have made it one.

While Democrats are here doing the work. Republicans are out campaigning on their failed policies. The same policies that have led to our neighbors being shot, our children being kidnapped, and our communities living in fear.

And when it came time to confront the lawlessness this administration has created? To listen to the victims? To hear from families who are hurting?

Republicans canceled the last two weeks of votes — and didn’t even bother to show up.

Enough. The American people deserve better.

WE CANNOT LOOK THE OTHER WAY.

Just two months after ICE agents murdered Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, another man, Wilber Rafael Garces Perez, was shot by ICE agents in Texas.

This rogue agency continues to show no regard for human life, shooting people in the middle of the street and getting away with it.

We deserve a full, independent, and transparent investigation.

LIES. LIP SERVICE. LAWLESSNESS.

This administration has shown us exactly who they are — we’ve seen enough of the scamming, the games, and the chaos.

So if you want a government that is by the people, for the people, and a real representative of the people, we’ve got to show up.

Because you might not do politics, but politics will do you.
