The Atlantic just reported some of Trump’s closest allies have been urging him to declare martial law to take control of the midterms.
Yes, you read that right.
Because of the momentum Democrats have with 39 days until Election Day, several people close to Trump believe he is likely to take unilateral action and throw November’s elections upside down.
And far-right attorney and election denier Peter Ticktin – who helped Trump sue Hillary Clinton and has represented other election deniers in court – laid out three possible election outcomes:
| “The first—a smooth election—won’t happen in [Ticktin’s] view because, he claims without evidence, Democrats already cheated in the primaries. The second is that Trump takes action before the election to prevent cheating.
