You can do so at ISI’s Gala for Western Civilization in Philadelphia on Thursday, September 19.
That night we’ll honor Sir Roger Scruton with the Defender of Western Civilization Award. It’s a fitting tribute for Sir Roger, who has been called “our greatest living conservative thinker” (Daniel Hannan) and “one of the most eminent philosophers in the world” (Robert P. George).
Sir Roger, sadly, is currently unable to travel, as he is undergoing chemotherapy. But he will address the dinner via video link.
At the Gala you will also hear from:
- John O’Sullivan, journalist, author, former National Review editor, and former adviser to British prime minister Margaret Thatcher, and
- Conservative philanthropist Rebekah Mercer, who will accept the Defender of Western Civilization Award on Sir Roger’s behalf.
