Arlington County has taken a number of actions to address the pandemic, and the Chamber continues to ask for additional actions to be taken and for other actions to be repealed or revised. At this meeting, the Government Affairs and Economic Development Committee will review COVID-19 responses to date, and will receive a report out from the Reopening Subcommittee, which has been having focused discussions on policy proposals to recommend to the Arlington County. Education & Workforce Development Committee Tuesday, September 15 | 3:00-4:00 p.m. Virtual Meeting Our speakers will be Ashlie Prioleau from George Mason University (Mason) and Jennifer Nelson and Annette Haggray from Northern Virginia Community Colleges (NOVA) who will be discussing the ADVANCE program. ADVANCE is an exciting partnership between NOVA and Mason that gives NOVA students targeted, personalized support to complete their bachelor's degrees in a timely manner and save money.
