Hi John,
There are only 50 days until the general election! Early voting starts this week in Minnesota, South Dakota, Virginia, and Wyoming.
As you are well aware this is not a normal election year, so please make a plan to vote. The pandemic, wild fires, and voter suppression efforts will force you to be more diligent than ever to make sure your ballot is cast and counted this year.
NBC News has an excellent resource, Plan Your Vote[[link removed]], that provides information on early voting, absentee voting and more in your state.
A great resource for our community is Secular America Votes[[link removed]]. This site has information on how to register to vote and check your registration status as well as voter engagement resources.
The League of Women Voters provides yet another great resource -- Vote411[[link removed]] -- that will provide you with information on all the candidates appearing on your ballot so you can make an informed vote up and down the ballot, on or before, November 3!
Your active political engagement will help to promote evidence-based public policy to effectively address the issues that confront us. As an added benefit your active participation in the political process will counter the Christian nationalists currently in power and help bring their bigoted, anti-science, racist, misogynistic, xenophobic, and homophobic crusade to an end.
Please share this information with like-minded friends, relatives, and colleagues to make sure we have a massive turnout of voters this year!
Thank you for your commitment to increase the political clout of the atheist and humanist community!
Sincerely,
Ron Millar
PAC and Political Coordinator
