Brandt — I know you care deeply about taking back the Senate, so I wanted to share a quick update with you this morning about the latest news in our battleground race to flip North Carolina’s seat.
Two newly released polls show our campaign in the lead but within the margin of error against our Washington opponent.
And tonight, I will take the stage against Thom Tillis for the first debate of this Senate campaign where I intend to talk about how we can get our government working for us again.
But I need your help. We haven’t hit all of our daily fundraising benchmarks in the first half of September, so we’re 39% behind on the goal we set for the month.
We need to report a large number of individual donations on our last full FEC report to set our campaign up for success in the closing weeks, which means we cannot afford to miss any goals — big or small.
So, we’ve set a new goal of reaching 3,470 contributions before I take the debate stage against Tillis tonight. Hitting this target will impact our budget significantly, so I hope I can count on you to pitch in right now:

I’m looking forward to tonight’s debate and it’ll help me to know our supporters (like you!) have helped us get back on track today.
Thanks in advance for stepping up.
