We’re scouring the country to find out what’s working in education right now, John.
The pandemic is exposing a wide gap between communities, but there are so many people rising to the challenge. Ms. Bradford, a 4th-grade teacher in Atlanta, creates digital to-do lists to help working parents stay on track. Lisa, a mom of two boys in San Francisco, sticks to a clear schedule and practices compassion with stressed-out teachers, students, and fellow parents.
With 56 million kids—and their parents and teachers—managing socially distant classrooms and virtual learning, this back to school year is unlike any before. The list of challenges and needs is serious, but the list of opportunities and solutions is endless.
That’s why we want to hear from you. We KNOW your creativity and go-to tips can help other parents, teachers, and students facing similar back to school challenges. Can you share what you see working to help out others in your shoes?

Education is our most hyper-local institution, and that means change has to start from the ground up. Whether your ideas are big or small, nationwide, or local, they make a difference in helping us pull together the largest database of what works and create a plan for change across the country.
This weekend, we held a Day of Conversation and Action with concerned teachers, caregivers, and students. Just like you, their needs are different, but their goals are the same - we have to do better than before to open the door of opportunity for every one of our nation’s children.
That’s why Dream Corps is rising to meet this moment. Just like the intersecting crises of mass incarceration, climate change, and lack of tech diversity brought our programs Dream Corps #cut50, Dream Corps Green for All, and Dream Corps TECH to life, this year’s schooling crisis is the catalyst driving #BackToSchoolSolutions forward.
We know that none of us can take on this challenge alone. It will take every one of us to reach beyond our neighborhood lines, start conversations, and put our best ideas forward to create the change we need.
Click here to add your ideas, tips, and creative solutions to help us kickstart a movement of hope for our schools and put education on a path better than before.
