John,

The mainstream media is trying to ignore America's corruption crisis.

Corruption in government is a top issue for 77% of voters – but debate
moderators still haven't asked presidential candidates what they will do
to fix it. The third Democratic debate is September 12th and it's time to
ask candidates about corruption.

ask candidates what they'll do to end corruption and unrig our political
system. We’ll hand-deliver every signature to ABC headquarters in New York
City next week.

It doesn't matter if you're a Democrat, Independent, or Republican – the
fact is, the questions debate moderators ask will decide the key issues of
the presidential race. And if the moderators ignore corruption, they're
sending a signal to politicians: You don't need to fix the corrupt status
quo.

This is unacceptable. Inaction on corruption means our political system
will continue to be held hostage by special interests, lobbyists, and dark
money groups.

The debate moderators have seen the polling – they know corruption is a
top issue for voters. But the networks airing the debates are beholden to
TV ratings. They need a reminder from viewers at home that a huge portion
of the American public wants to hear about corruption and how our
leaders plan to fix it.

#AskAboutDemocracy.

RepresentUs volunteers in New York City will hand-deliver signatures to
ABC headquarters next week, putting faces and names to America's demand to
#AskAboutDemocracy.

Debate moderators have the power on September 12th to bring corruption in
government into the national spotlight. It's up to us to make sure they do
it.
