This is an important moment for our campaign — a lot is happening right now and I need your help. Let me quickly explain:

Donald Trump is returning to Minnesota on Friday, which is also when I’ll debate my GOP opponent for the very first time. And I’m expecting a major shift in our race once the dust settles.

The bad news is, our campaign is vulnerable as we head into this first debate. Two consecutive polls show us locked in a statistical tie — or, as I like to call it, a dead heat! — with Jason Lewis.

The Republican effort to flip Minnesota red has ramped up significantly and we’ve lost ground in the polls as a result. And I’m worried Trump could attack me personally while he’s campaigning here — which means we need to be prepared to fight back immediately or we run the risk of falling even further behind.

So, we have this pesky fundraising deadline in front of us. The reason it’s so important is that if we fall short on our $50,000 goal, Republicans will have a major advantage in the closing weeks of this election. We cannot let that happen, which is why I’m asking:

Can you rush a donation of $5 or more before our mid-month deadline? Your donation would go a long way and allow us to prepare for whatever false attacks Trump has planned for us.

I’m determined to keep Minnesota out of Republican hands. But if I’m honest, we have a very tough fight ahead of us.

So long as you’re with me, I know we can win — thanks again for standing with me every single day. It means more than you know.

All my best,

Tina
