The U.S. Postal Service is in DIRE need of financial support, John - but Donald Trump and extremist Republicans refuse to provide a cent of emergency relief.

Every day, millions of Americans rely on this vital civic institution for lifesaving medications, Social Security benefits, food deliveries and connection with loved ones. And the new postmaster general - a top Trump donor - recently removed mail-sorting machines across the nation.

This could cause operational delays that mean millions of Americans won't receive mail or desperately needed medications on time. And with 80 million Americans expected to vote by mail to stay safe during this pandemic, we need the USPS now more than ever.

We CANNOT allow this vital public service to collapse while our health and democracy are on the line.
