I wanted to make sure you saw this important note from my finance director, Laura, yesterday. This final stretch of our race will be defined largely by the strength of our grassroots fundraising, and I’m hoping to have your support until the very end.
As of right now we still need to raise $8,766 by Tuesday to get back on track to meet our quarterly fundraising goal. If you’re able, will you consider making a contribution of any size to help us stay on the path to win this race and flip this seat blue?

At the end of this month, we’re facing our final FEC quarterly fundraising deadline before Election Day.
This is one of the most critical benchmarks of the election, as it gives a public snapshot of our grassroots fundraising as we enter the last month of the race -- but as of right now, we’re $12,000 short of where we should be at this point in the quarter.

In this final stretch of the race, we have our entire campaign budgeted down to the penny. Any changes to our finance plan now will impact how many TV ads we can air, how many mailers we can send, and how many voters we can reach. With Election Day just weeks away, there simply isn’t time to make up a deficit if we were to fall short.
Anything you chip in, even a few dollars, will make a huge impact on our ability to catch up to our quarterly fundraising targets and continue running a strong grassroots campaign all the way through Election Day.
