The Patriots won the game, but this was hardly the full Cam Newton experience
We finally got a first glimpse of the Patriots' offense with Cam Newton running the show, and the results were decidedly positive, as New England defeated the Miami Dolphins, 21-11.
But this was hardly the full Cam Newton Experience. Josh McDaniels kept the training wheels on the offense on Sunday and went conservative. But the fact that the Patriots could win by 10 mostly by running the ball is actually encouraging for later in the season, when Newton gets more comfortable with the offense.
