Friend --
When I first met Joe Biden while filming Parks and Recreation, I had a mission to complete. So, mid-scene with the Vice President, I turned to one of his Secret Service agents, pointed at him, and said, "You don't let anything happen to him, do you understand me? He is precious cargo."
I guess that's already the Secret Service's whole job, but I had to make sure. Because Joe Biden is the kind of leader our country needs -- someone who speaks the truth and speaks it plainly.
Now, I'm still doing everything I can to help Joe, which is why I'm excited to let you know that my friend Maya Rudolph and I will be crashing Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton's grassroots fundraiser tomorrow night!
Maya and I have some experience getting inside the heads of Kamala and Hillary, so I can't wait for all of us to get together. And you can join us at 6pm eastern on Monday if you chip in any amount right now to reserve your ticket:

I can't tell you how excited I am for this event. And not just because Maya and I will get to sit down with the powerhouse politicians we've played on Saturday Night Live.
I've spent the last several years encouraging young, smart girls to volunteer and get involved in the world around them, and both Kamala and Hillary's historic candidacies are the kind of glass-ceiling-shattering moments I know will inspire young girls for generations.
Plus, everything we raise for this fundraiser will go directly towards electing Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats up and down the ballot.
We've got less than two months to get my favorite train guy to the White House, so I'm doing everything I can every day to make sure he wins, and I know you are too.
I hope you'll join Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, Maya Rudolph, and me on Monday for what's sure to be a great conversation. If you haven't yet, you can use this link to make a donation of any amount, and then Joe's team will send you details about how to join:

See you tomorrow,
