Friend,

In 2018, Jason ran for Congress on the promise to be a voice for Coloradans who are sick and tired of gun violence -- because he knows that no one should ever fear for their lives, much less at a movie theater or their school.

After getting to Congress, he was appointed Vice Chair of the Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, helped pass the historic Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019, and helped secure $25 million in funding for gun violence prevention research.

Jason didn't just make promises, he kept them.

Yet, Mitch McConnell's Senate has yet to hold a single hearing. They offer their "thoughts and prayers," then go back to business as usual cashing checks from the gun lobby, while gun violence prevention measures gather dust on McConnell's desk.

Check out the bold promise Jason made (and kept) when he launched his campaign in 2018, then join the American majority by demanding the Senate pass gun violence prevention measures NOW » [link removed]

Gun violence hasn't gone away during the COVID-19 pandemic. Increased unemployment, the stress of the virus, the stress of having to be at home in communities with high infection rates has only exacerbated this violence.

This is not a partisan issue, it is a moral one.

We can't, in good conscience, run mass shooting drills as often as fire drills and keep telling our kids that it is normal. We can't let one more person become a victim of gun violence because the gun lobby signs Mitch McConnell's checks.

Add your name to join us in demanding Mitch McConnell and his allies in the Senate pass gun violence prevention measures NOW » [link removed]
