Moto Rally for Mozambique
Join Missouri Bishop Bob Farr as he loops Missouri on his Harley in support of the Mozambique Initiative. The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness and money to purchase motorcycles for United Methodist pastors in Mozambique. In remote areas that lack good roads, motorcycles are the most common and practical form of transportation. For the Missouri ride, supporters are encouraged to donate per mile ridden, with the total ride being around 830 miles. The ride in Missouri will take place September 29 – October 2 and will pass through all nine Missouri Conference districts. There is no registration fee to ride, but riders are encouraged to register so they can be kept up to date on the route and stops as details change and develop. For more information and to register go to www.moumethodist.org/mimotorally.
