John — I wanted to make sure you heard about Trump’s latest plans to dismantle Roe v. Wade.
Earlier this week Trump announced that he’s officially considering Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz for his next Supreme Court nomination. These men have built their political careers attacking women’s rights and reproductive freedom.
We must channel our anger into action. That’s why we’re doubling down on our efforts to build the biggest get out the vote campaign in Women’s March history.
In case you missed it — I’m attaching our last email about Trump’s Supreme Court plans.
Thank you for all of your support, John.

This is exactly what we feared, John.
Trump just announced his choices for future Supreme Court justices: Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz. Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz have spent their entire political careers fighting to reverse Roe v. Wade and dismantle reproductive rights. This is a direct threat against women’s rights and reproductive freedom.
They’re not even trying to hide it, John. Right after Trump’s endorsement, Tom Cotton made his intentions abundantly clear if he were to be nominated for the Supreme Court:
From day one, we knew Trump would pose a direct threat to our bodies and our right to receive reproductive health care. But what we’ve witnessed these past three years has been a full out war to reverse Roe v. Wade. Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court will always be a stinging reminder for decades to come of the consequences of a Trump administration.
We cannot afford another conservative male judge who is dead set on taking away our rights. If Trump is re-elected and can nominate another conservative judge to the Supreme Court — it would tip the scales and put a woman’s right to an abortion in imminent danger.
Trump’s endorsement for Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz for the Supreme Court shows us just how critical it is we organize in these next 54 days leading up to the election.
We’ve been hard at work building a massive team of volunteers to contact women voters in key swing states to drive record turnout we need to win on November 3rd. We’ve already sent and received over one million texts to women voters – to win we need to send millions more. It is our duty, and it can be done. We are the majority of voters and if we turnout in force, we can decide the fate of this election.
Let’s finish what we started,
Women’s March Team
