Wow, what a week we just had, Brandt.

While Cal was getting ready to take the stage for his first debate against Thom Tillis, Donald Trump came back to North Carolina for the third time in three weeks, making clear that we are THE battleground state in this election.

We’ve always known this race would be tight, but as Cal and Tillis prepare to face off tomorrow, the latest polls show this race is in single digits. And we expect Tillis to get a boost after Trump’s visit, which means we must do everything we can to help Cal right now.

Our plan is to raise $50,000 this weekend and build our momentum before the first debate. We know this number is ambitious — but if every single person reading this chips in just a few dollars, we can get there. Donate right here:

Thom Tillis is relying on Mitch McConnell’s corporate special interest donors to get him across the finish line, but Cal refuses to accept contributions from corporate PACs because he knows there’s no room for corporate influence in our elections.

Instead, he’s connected with North Carolinians in all 100 counties of our state to earn their support — and tomorrow night, he’ll make it clear that he’s ready to fight for them in Washington.

So today, in that same spirit, let’s fight for him.
