You know my story. I was a Republican Congressman in Illinois for over a decade. I was one of the only Republicans who served on the January 6th Committee. I put my career on the line because I believed some things matter more than a party: the Constitution, the truth, and the country.

That's why Brian Bengs stands out to me.

Brian isn't a Democrat, and he isn't a Republican. He spent 26 years in uniform. He enlisted in the Navy, then served nineteen years as an Air Force JAG officer enforcing the rules on people in power who thought the rules didn't apply to them.

And here’s the crazy part: he can win in a state as red as South Dakota. A recent poll has him tied, 44% to 44%, with two-term Senator Mike Rounds in a state Donald Trump carried by nearly 30 points. That doesn't happen unless people are desperate to vote for someone outside the Washington partisan machine.

But Rounds has millions in the bank and a crypto super PAC with roughly $170 million ready to bury him. Brian doesn't take corporate PAC money. He needs people like us.

I don't lend my name to just anyone. I'm lending it to Brian because he's the right candidate for this moment. He’s a man who cares more about the country than about a team. It reminds me of the fight that cost me my seat, and the one I'll never stop waging.
