We have some news to share: The Washington Post reported this week that President Trump’s hand-picked Postmaster General and mega donor, Louis DeJoy, pressured his employees to make political contributions to GOP candidates, and then he paid them back through large bonuses.
Not only is that plain wrong, but it’s illegal. And this just adds another reason Louis DeJoy should step down as Postmaster General and resign immediately. If you agree, add your name here. [[link removed]]

Trump appointed DeJoy as Postmaster General because he wrote massive checks for his presidential campaign and for the Republican Party — contributions that we now know broke campaign finance laws. Since then, the two have tag-teamed an all out assault on a critical public service from the top-down.
While the President was spreading lies and misinformation about the safety and security of mail-in ballots in order to sabotage the election, his Postmaster General was cutting overtime for postal workers, laying off staff, decommissioning hundreds of mail sorting machines, and removing public mail boxes in communities across the country.
The Postal Service has been clear about the effects of DeJoy’s destructive orders. In addition to mail getting lost and medicine being delayed, voters could potentially be disenfranchised this November due to delays.
As Cory has said before, this is mass voter suppression and a stress test for our democracy. It’s up to us to stand together, raise our voices, and demand that any and every voter can make their voice heard through the mail. So we’re asking:
