Hi there, friends – I'm following up because we're 14 signatures short on our petition to save the U.S. Postal Service, and it looks like we're still missing your name.

Millions of Americans are relying on the USPS to deliver vital necessities during this pandemic – and, of course, to safely cast their ballots in November's election. We cannot lose this critical public service, especially not at a moment when we need it more than ever.

But you're running out of time to speak out, so please: Click here now to sign the petition demanding Congress take action immediately to save the U.S. Postal Service.

Subject: USPS Update

Friends,

As COVID-19 remains a serious threat in our communities, more Americans than ever are depending on the U.S. Postal Service to receive essential supplies (including medications), keep in touch with family and friends, and exercise their fundamental right to vote.

We need a strong Postal Service to keep Americans safe and make universal vote-by-mail a reality, but President Trump is still blocking emergency funding for this vital agency. And to make matters even worse, the new postmaster general – a Trump megadonor – has removed hundreds of mail-sorting machines around the country.

Americans across the country are already experiencing a slowdown in mail delivery, and with people's health and our very democracy on the line, we simply cannot afford to lose the USPS at a time when we need it more than ever. That's why we must act now and demand Congress take action to save the USPS.

This couldn't be more urgent, friends. Chrissy believes that the USPS is essential to our way of life, and she's been working tirelessly to save it. Right now we need 250 people to join Chrissy in speaking out before it's too late: Will you sign the petition before midnight to demand Congress take immediate action to protect the U.S. Postal Service?

Thank you for taking action when it matters most.

Team Chrissy
