There is a glaring difference between my opponent, John Katko, and myself. The NRA recently released its 2020 scorecard for candidates and elected officials, and I'm proud to say I earned an F rating. John Katko, on the other hand, received an A-.
I will always stand up to the gun lobby and will support common-sense gun safety measures. Meanwhile, John Kaktko has taken more than $250,000 from the NRA and gun lobby -- he's counting on contributions from right-wing special interest groups like these to keep him competitive against our surging grassroots campaign.

It's easy to see why John Katko earned his good grade from the gun lobby. He consistently opposes gun safety measures, like universal background checks, that are supported by the majority of Americans. And he is a co-sponsor of the NRA’s priority Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act which would bring more concealed guns into New York.
On the other hand, I support implementing universal background checks, repealing the Dickey Amendment, and enacting effective “red flag” laws.
The corporate gun lobby is aware that I will stand up for our communities and will fight for gun safety measures. That is why they have thrown their support behind my opponent -- who is more than happy to fall in line and support their dangerous agenda.
