Tomorrow is my first debate against Thom Tillis, Brandt.

By now, you know that he and I have very different views on what it means to lead North Carolina during this unprecedented moment.

While my opponent is focused on pleasing Mitch McConnell’s corporate donor network, I’m listening to North Carolinians and identifying the most pressing needs for our state.

So, as I think about tomorrow’s debate, it’s your stories that are top-of-mind. The issues my opponent and I will discuss have a very real impact on folks across our state — and it’s my mission to ensure that I’m giving a voice to your experiences, the same way I will in Washington.

Up until this point, Thom Tillis has been able to hide behind advertisements sponsored by Washington Republicans who will spend whatever it takes to hold onto this Senate seat.

Tomorrow night, he’ll be forced to answer for six years of inaction. I’ll make sure of it.
