** Hi,
John.
------------------------------------------------------------

Good morning! For those that were not able to attend, we had a great meeting last week with Attorney General Josh Stein. AG Stein has done an incredible job representing North Carolina over the last four years, and we're excited to help him get re-elected this fall. Speaking of the election, at the end of the meeting, I listed a number of volunteer activities for the next few months. If you are interested in any of the opportunities listed below, please email me at [email protected]. Early voting starts in a little over a month! It's time to get to work!

Volunteer activities:

1. Our weekly phone bank! Every Tuesday until the election, we will be hosting a phone bank at 630pm. Given our current restraints, phone and text banking are the best ways to reach out to voters. I hope you can join us this Tuesday!

2. For the next week or two, the Wake County Democrats are looking for paid phone bankers. You will be paid $15/hour, but you will need to commit to making roughly 100 calls (3-3 1/2 hours of calls) every night.

3. The Wake County Democratic Men want to know if we're are interested in teaming up to work on voter outreach to younger voters. I think this is a great idea and could have a big effect on the election; however, we will need to get started soon, so please let me know this week if you're interested.

4. SIGNS! For those that are interested, I have received multiple requests for help in constructing and delivering signs. This is a very important component of every campaign, and they really need our help. Most of this work will be done in the next couple, so please let me know ASAP if you're interested.

5. Last but not least, we really need some people willing to serve as poll workers. As many of you know, these jobs are normally done by people in their 60s and 70s, but due to the concerns with Covid, many people are unwilling to serve this year. These jobs are incredibly important, especially in high Democratic areas like Wake County. The party and various precincts have asked me to help find volunteers, so please let me know if you're interested.

51 days until the election! Let's go to work now, so we don't wake up on November 4 and think about what we could have done.

Thanks,
Zach Padget
