I was on the road talking to voters this past weekend as we kicked off early voting in Virginia and here’s a question I kept getting:
Why is the president more focused on naming monuments after himself than he is on governing?
Seriously, the president even threatened to shut down the Kennedy Center just because he’s not allowed to put his name on it.
Never in my lifetime did I think we’d see this kind of CRAP from the President of the United States.
And – even more disappointing to me – we’ve seen far too many Republicans in Congress cave to his every demand.
I’ve been fighting like hell to hold this administration accountable and get something done on the issues people actually care about – like lowering costs, addressing the hair-on-fire warnings about AI, and ending this war-of-choice overseas.
But, frankly, JOhn, with early voting already underway: It’s on ALL of us now to stop this administration.
We’ve all got to step up to defeat these Republicans who are putting Trump’s ego over the law, the constitution, and even their own voters.
