Republican Fred Upton is in trouble and the National Republican
Congressional Committee knows it. After all, in 2018 Upton won reelection
with just 50.2% of the vote.

This year, progressive Jon Hoadley is going to finish the job and flip
this district from Red to Blue. That's why the NRCC is pulling out all the
stops and trying to motivate their racist homophobic base with lies and
misrepresentations of Jon and his record.

In recent ads and mailers sent to voters in district, the RNCC tries to
paint Hoadley as anti-woman, pro-pedophilia and a sexual predator. Using
out of context quotes from live blogging over 15 years ago, they've
purposefully contorted and cut up conversations to sell homophobic tropes
about Gay men and scare voters.

The problem is, that in this Republican leaning district, these homophobic
attacks might just work -- if we don't fight back.

clear. At only 37 years old, he's distinguished himself as a principled,

against women — and as a strong supporter of workers’ rights to organize.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, soon-to-be Vice
President Kamala Harris, Senator Elizabeth Warren, and dozens of other
elected officials at all levels of office.

Jon has the support of the LGBTQ Victory Fund, dozens of women’s
organizations, environmental groups, gun control advocates, and unions
throughout the state including the UAW and the Michigan AFL-CIO.
