I’ll keep this short tonight. The latest Impact Research poll has this race tied — 44 to 44. An independent, dead even with Mike Rounds, in one of the reddest states in America.

Look at the rest of the country. Republican numbers are cratering. Trump is underwater near 40%, the GOP's worst generic-ballot deficit of his term, their economic edge gone. South Dakotans feel it too, and they're done waiting for either party to fix it.
