I want you to look at a list of folks supporting this campaign, because I don't think either national party could put it together if they tried.
Adam Kinzinger, a Republican congressman who broke with his own party after January 6th. Jon Tester, a Democrat who represented this state in the Senate for eighteen years. Marc Racicot, former Republican governor of Montana. VoteVets, one of the largest veterans organizations in the country. Montana's largest labor federation. And, as of this week, Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
All of them agree on one thing: Montana deserves a senator who answers to Montana, and the two-party machine in Washington isn't going to produce one. That's the coalition that can win this race. The coalition that will put our state and our country before any party.
And the newest poll says it's working. I am now winning Montana's largest voting bloc, Independents, outright. A majority of Montana Democrats say they're with me. And Republicans who were handed a nominee in a back room are looking for the exit.
Kurt Alme's list is shorter. Trump, Daines, Sheehy, Gianforte, and a Super PAC spending millions. Four men and a checkbook. That's the choice this state gets to make in 44 days.
