Two days ago, audio recordings revealed that Donald Trump knew about the severity of the coronavirus pandemic even before the first confirmed COVID-19 death in the United States.
In order words, John, our president actively chose to mislead the public on the deadly threat the virus posed, and as a result, we have the highest COVID death toll in the entire world.
John, the coronavirus pandemic has laid bare an ongoing crisis for American families with regard to access to affordable health care and an economy that isn’t working for too many people. Rather than resolve these issues, for years Washington has chosen to stay still at the behest of outside interests.
And when the moment came to take preemptive action on a pandemic that threatened our lives and livelihoods, evidence shows that our president chose not to.
John, this is proof the Administration isn’t working for North Texas families. And I’m running for re-election to change that.
