The battlegrounds *within* the battlegrounds

Hi Jack,

You know this, but it bears repeating: Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in 2016. Donald Trump won the presidency because he won over a few hundred thousand voters in key swing states.

Take Pennsylvania: Trump won the state by just 45,000 votes. 45,000—that’s it! If we strategically invest in key swing House districts within Pennsylvania, we’ll win the state. And, in all likelihood, the White House.

So today, I want to talk to you about the three freshman congresswomen whose districts are KEY to winning PA: Chrissy Houlahan, Mary Gay Scanlon and Susan Wild.

Prior to their election, Pennsylvania didn’t have a SINGLE woman representing them in Congress. And since coming to Washington, each of these phenomenal leaders have gotten to work and delivered for their districts.

Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06) is a former chemistry teacher and military veteran (and my teammate on the Congressional Women’s Softball Team). Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05) is a longtime public interest attorney who in her first term has led been on the frontline of holding this administration accountable. And Susan Wild (PA-07) broke barriers as the first woman solicitor of the city of Allentown and has led the effort to protect healthcare and lower the cost of prescription drugs while in Congress.

Consider these the battleground districts within the battleground states—when we shore up our endangered House freshmen in these key districts, our investment pays MAJOR dividends up (and down) the ballot.

Please, split a donation between Chrissy, Mary Gay and Susan’s campaigns and Off the Sidelines. With the resources to turn out every single voter in their districts, we can turn Pennsylvania blue.

Thank you for stepping up,
Kirsten
