This week, we learned that Donald Trump knew how deadly the coronavirus would be, but he deliberately misled the American people. Despite early warnings, he downplayed the threat and waited until mid-March to make major purchases of medical equipment and PPE.

Now, more than 126,000 South Carolinians have contracted COVID and almost 3,000 have died. Unemployment continues to soar and teachers are falling ill as schools reopen prematurely. It didn’t have to be this bad. South Carolinians continue to suffer because of Trump’s lies and failed response

In just 52 days, we have the chance to defeat Trump and elect leaders who will bring the country together and tackle this crisis. With stakes this high, we need to be all in to elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Jaime Harrison, and Democrats up and down the ballot in South Carolina.
