"Terminating payroll tax could end Social Security benefits in 2023, chief actuary warns"
-- 8/25/20

John,

For decades, Social Security has been critical in helping millions of hard-working Americans live with dignity and security. But that hasn't stopped the Trump administration from attacking our earned benefits.

President Trump has promised to eliminate the payroll tax in its entirety if he's re-elected, which would rob directly from programs like Social Security and Medicare. Now, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration is warning that if Trump gets his way, Social Security benefits could be depleted by 2023.

We cannot allow Trump to rob Americans of their earned benefits. If you agree, add your name to join Kim in the fight to protect Social Security >>

These aren't the first attacks Trump has leveled against our earned benefits. Earlier this year, Trump proposed billions of dollars in cuts to Social Security as part of his 2021 budget. And if he's re-elected, we know the attacks will continue.

Our country made a promise that if you work hard and pay in, Social Security would be there for you when you need it the most. Kim is fighting in Congress to ensure we keep that promise, but she needs to know you have her back.

Add your name to stand with Kim and fight back against the Trump administration's attacks on Social Security.

Thanks,

Team Schrier
