Africa & Europe
- Praise God for the trainings that IJM was able to carry out in Western Uganda to help police and other justice service providers practice skills that will make them more trauma informed and survivor sensitive. Pray for them as they put these skills into practice, and that it would be a safe and comforting process for survivors to report crimes of sexual violence to police.
Latin America
- Pray for our Bolivia team as they continue to support programs ensuring child survivors of sexual violence have access to legal and psychosocial services through our trained volunteers. Our team is proactively working with volunteers, lawyers, social workers, psychologists and more to form multidisciplinary teams to support survivors of violence on the long road to justice, free of charge, as the country slowly transitions into a less restrictive quarantine. Pray for God's wisdom and strength to be upon these volunteers as they continue to seek justice for the most vulnerable.
South Asia
- Please pray that the state government in one of our project areas would fully adopt two key training curricula IJM created for the justice system. One training resource helps police improve their investigation skills on cases of sex trafficking; the other resource seeks to improve minimum standards of care for aftercare shelters. Having both of these tried-and-tested tools adopted and used by the state would make a huge impact in the fight against sex trafficking and how survivors are served. Pray we would get good news soon!
Southeast Asia
- Pray for survivors of trafficking in Thailand as the cases against their suspected traffickers continue. Pray for their safety and wellbeing, both for the survivors and their families as they are cared for by a shelter partner.

IJM headquarters is located in the United States. IJM has
international advancement offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the
Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
- Pray for the Global People Support (HR) teams who are running orientation week for 50 new staff members from teams all over the globe. There are many logistical components needed to ensure that the week-long program runs smoothly, especially since this normally in-person event is being held digitally. Pray that the new staff would feel welcomed, connect with one another, and see IJM's mission with greater clarity as they invest themselves into a season of service.
