Hi John,
It's an organization, it's a book, and now… it's a podcast!
We've partnered with Dear Media to launch Run for Something (the podcast!), now available -- as the pros say -- in your favorite podcatcher. If you need a little hope and optimism to break up all your true crime listens, this is the podcast for you.
Every Tuesday, I'll talk with Run for Something alumni and endorsed candidates in state and local government. From city council and state legislatures to school and library boards -- heck, maybe even a county coroner or two. Because, sincerely, no race is too small.
For our series launch, I talked with two incredible women who've made their communities and all of us in the progressive world very, very proud: House Delegate and candidate for governor of Virginia
Jennifer Carroll Foy and Allegheny County Councilmember (PA)
Bethany Hallam.
I guarantee their stories about running for office while pregnant with twins (Jennifer) and spending election night 2016 in the jail that she now oversees (Bethany) will inspire and fire you up. And frankly, they're just the kind of wild campaign stories we can't get enough of at Run for Something.
Listen on the podcatcher of your choice:

Thanks -- happy listening!
