For months, this campaign has been built the way I've always believed campaigns should be built: door by door, conversation by conversation, showing up at events where nobody was watching and meetings that ran past midnight.
That work doesn't stop. But now, my story is reaching living rooms across Western and Southern Colorado, too.
The ad tells Coloradans who I am: a combat engineer who served in the Persian Gulf War, a business owner who's spent years creating jobs right here, and someone who's spent decades on local boards doing the unglamorous work of actually serving this community.
Our latest poll has this race at 46% to 45%. A district Republicans won by five points last election is now a one-point race. Jeff Hurd knows it, too, which is why he isn't slowing down, and neither can we.
Staying on the air costs real money, and I don't want to pull this ad down when it's finally reaching the voters who will decide this race.
Thank you,
Together we lead. Together we win.
