A brand-new Republican super PAC tied to Mitch McConnell just put $3.8
million into attack ads against Dan Osborn. In a state with just over 1.2
million voters, that is a staggering amount of money.
And it is part of a much bigger gap. AdImpact reported Wednesday that
Republicans have $4.9 million in TV time booked for the rest of the race.
Osborn's side has $423,000. That is more than 10 to 1.
It is happening for one reason: a union mechanic is leading a billionaire
senator. A SurveyUSA poll released last week has Dan ahead of Republican
Sen. Pete Ricketts, 46% to 42%, in a state Trump won by 20 points.

stonewalled the Medicaid expansion Nebraska voters had already approved,
leaving 90,000 people waiting nearly two years for coverage.
Flipping this seat would all but guarantee that Trump loses control of the
Senate. That ends the rubber stamp for his corrupt agenda and supercharges
the fight against the billionaires rigging the economy against working
people.
