President Trump and his super PAC are pouring millions into North Carolina to defeat me, keep this battleground seat in his hands and defend the Republican Senate majority.

Trump has been sitting on his massive war chest for months now – reserving it for the most opportune moment – and with a recent poll showing me statistically tied with his handpicked candidate, Trump is rushing in a surge of MAGA cash to help him take the lead.

That’s because this race will decide Senate control. So please, John, if you care about flipping North Carolina and taking back the Senate for Democrats, I need you to chip in $5 or even just a few bucks to my campaign today. Can I count on you?

It’s not surprising that Trump is spending big in North Carolina. The GOP has been panicking ever since experts said this was the best chance for Democrats to flip a Republican-held seat in the country.

The momentum was on our side, and we were growing stronger by the day.

However, then dark-money super PACs started pouring in millions. They’re at over $100 million and counting – all to smear me with attack ads and spread blatant lies about me and this election.

Now, we’re getting outspent and drowned out on the airwaves, and my narrow polling lead has shrunk to a virtual tie. We’re about to face millions more in dark money, thanks to President Trump, and we cannot afford to lose any more ground.
