As we move into the final weeks of our Preliminary Theological Certificate (PTC) appeal, we want to thank you for the incredible support you've shown so far.

Because of the generosity of our African Enterprise family, we have now raised $44,433 towards our goal of $60,260, meaning we're 67.10% of the way there.

That is wonderful progress, but with the appeal closing at the end of September, we still need to raise $19,827 to reach our target.

We're grateful for how God has already provided. Every gift received so far is helping equip pastors and church leaders in Rwanda with the biblical training they need to faithfully serve their churches and communities.

Across Rwanda, there is a growing hunger to learn God's Word and see local churches flourish. Yet many pastors have never had the opportunity to undertake formal theological training. Church pastors are also required to complete recognised theological study to continue serving in ministry and for Churches to remain open.

Through our partnership with Moore Theological College and the Anglican Churches of Rwanda, the PTC program is helping meet this need by providing accessible, practical, and biblically grounded training for local church leaders.

This month, Australian lecturers Rev Greg Ball from Cronulla Anglican Church and Peter Butchatsky from Thomas Hassall Anglican College are travelling to Kigali to teach and encourage students as they continue their studies. Their involvement is a wonderful reminder of the partnership that exists between Christians in Australia and Rwanda as we work together for the sake of the gospel.

As Paul wrote to Timothy:

"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses

entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." 2 Timothy 2:2

This verse captures the heart of what we're seeking to do. By investing in the training of pastors today, we are helping equip leaders who will go on to teach, disciple, and encourage countless others for years to come.

As we approach the end of the appeal on 30 September, we're inviting our African Enterprise family to help us close the remaining gap and reach this important goal together.

Prayerful consider partnering with us as we work towards the remaining $19,827.

$460 provides one year of theological training for one pastor.

$920 equips two pastors to serve their communities.

$32,200 covers training costs for all 70 pastors currently waiting to begin.
