John -- We will never forget those who we lost in the September 11th terrorist attacks nineteen years ago. Today, I ask that you join me in mourning with the families whose lives were changed forever in that act of violence, and remember the brave first responders who courageously risked their lives to save others. We lost nearly 3,000 Americans that day, John. Today, we think of them, their families, and also the first responders and civilians who risked their lives to save others. In their memory, we recall the national response to an unprecedented act of terrorism on our nation: kindness, compassion, and renewed commitment to our fellow American brethren. As a nation, then, we found courage to fight unequivocally for the greater good. Guided by perseverance, I haven’t an ounce of doubt that we’ll handle this current crisis properly, in unity, with collective strength as well. God bless, John. -- Gil |
