Friend of Israel,
Today is a historic day for Israel, the Middle East and the U.S.-Israel relationship.
This afternoon, the United States announced a landmark agreement between Israel and Bahrain—

another historic demonstration of a promising new era in Arab and Israel relations. Leaders from Israel, the UAE and Bahrain will arrive at the White House on Tuesday.
Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates will now join Egypt and Jordan in paving the path to peace through recognition and engagement with Israel, rather than through isolation and boycotts.
This is a remarkable moment. We are witnessing the old and unproductive paradigm of boycotts and rejectionism collapsing, and a new model of peace, prosperity and cooperation emerging.
And here's the key takeaway for us: These historic breakthroughs don't happen without a strong and secure Israel, backed by the ironclad support of the United States. That's what we work so hard to preserve and strengthen. And you help make that possible by supporting AIPAC.
Thank you, and I look forward to sharing more details of this historic development with you soon.
Brian Shankman
Director of Regional Affairs and Development
Today we remember the lives lost 19 years ago in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. We are united in pursuit of a safer, more peaceful world for the United States, our ally Israel, and those who share our mutual quest for freedom.
Israel's 9/11 Living Memorial Plaza in Jerusalem is the only memorial outside the United States listing all the names of the victims, including five who were Israeli citizens, and is the only 9/11 memorial in the Middle East.
