Dear John,

A federal court has blocked an order from the Trump administration that directs officials not to count undocumented immigrants in the 2020 Census. This is the latest development in the administration's ongoing attempt to prevent undocumented immigrants from being counted in this year's Census.

In Mexico, several dozen members of numerous feminist collectives have taken over a federal building in downtown Mexico City, declaring it a shelter for victims of violence and demanding that the government take action to combat the high rate of femicide in the country.

The Chicago Abortion Fund has launched a billboard campaign across Illinois to inform the public that abortion care is covered by the state's Medicaid program. Only 16 states and the District of Columbia use Medicaid funds to cover abortion services for low-income residents.

This week in Chicago’s suburbs and across Illinois, the Chicago Abortion Fund launched a new billboard campaign to inform the public that abortion care is covered by Medicaid in Illinois. The billboard reads: “Abortion Is Healthcare. It’s Covered By Illinois Medicaid”.
