September 11, 2001 is a day that will remain etched in our hearts. John, Those of us old enough to have watched the horrific and tragic events of September 11, 2001 unfold in real time will never forget that fateful morning. It’s a day that will remain etched in our hearts forever. We must NEVER forget. On this Patriot Day 2020, we reflect on all those lives lost on 9/11. We recognize those who’ve recovered, those who are still recovering, and we remember and pray for the loved ones left behind to carry on. While it’s hard to fathom why anyone would choose terror as a means to an end, we know that in the end America bounced back stronger and more unified. America remained and remains the shining city on a hill filled with hope and strength. A new generation is coming of age – a generation that doesn’t remember first-hand what unfolded on that morning 19 years ago today. It is the duty of ALL of us to teach and guide them.
