Friend, I recently visited Dorothy's House and the Land of Oz Museum here in Kansas. At one point, I watched a clip of Dorothy and Toto — along with their sidekicks — walking down the Yellow Brick Road toward Oz and the Wizard.
At that moment, I realized that the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion were the perfect metaphor for what’s wrong in Washington today.

Kansans deserve leaders who will open their hearts to the people they’re representing, think critically about how to solve tough problems and have the courage to stand up to the corruption and chaos in Washington. That’s exactly what I’ll do if I win in November. Will you rush $10 now to help me defeat Roger Marshall and start fighting for Kansans?

Friend, we have too many politicians in D.C. right now who — much like the Scarecrow — have lost their minds. They’ve stopped using their brains to solve problems. Instead, they’re doing whatever their president or their party tells them to do.
That’s not good for Kansas or the country.
We’ve got a lot of leaders who, just like the Tin Man, have lost their hearts. They’ve voted to cut healthcare and take SNAP benefits away from children — that’s what my opponent, Sen. Roger Marshall, has done.
To make things even worse, far too many people in Washington are running around without courage, just like the Cowardly Lion. Kansas needs a leader who is courageous enough to fight for their people — even if that means the president bullies them, calls them names or picks on them for it.
If I’m elected, I will think for myself about what Kansas needs — not Washington. I’ll open my heart to people’s pain. And I’ll have the courage to help them, even when it goes against what a president or party bosses want. But I can’t do it without your support. Please, will you send your $10 gift today so we can reach more Kansans and get supporters to the polls in November?

Thanks for standing with me,

Adam Hamilton is a husband, father, pastor and fifth-generation Kansan. Now, he’s running for U.S. Senate as an independent-minded Democrat. Just like you, he’s tired of the chaos and corruption in Washington that is harming our farmers, raising costs at the checkout line and making critical health care services unattainable. He hears your concerns and is ready to get to work for you.
Early polling shows Adam neck-and-neck in this race, and with your help, we can win big this November. Will you join our movement by making a grassroots donation today?
