|CORRECTION: Applications are due Friday, September 6.|
Dear ACLU Supporter,
No matter your age, the civil rights and civil liberties that the ACLU fights for affect all of us. The future of justice in our state depends on the next generation of activists, which is why we’re launching the ACLU California Advocacy Institute for high school students this fall.
This four-day program will bring student activism to the next level. Through interactive seminars and activities, students will learn strategies for grassroots organizing and build an activist network across the state to take on the most important civil liberties issues facing California today.
This program is open to all California students in grades 10, 11, or 12 in the 2019-20 school year. Regular decision applications are due Friday, September 6. Full and partial financial aid is available for those who qualify.
