What if the care that could save your sight never reached your community?
For millions of people, that's the reality. The nearest eye clinic may be hours away. Parents may not know their child has a vision problem. Older adults may assume blindness is simply part of aging. Without someone bringing eye care into the community, many people never receive the knowledge or treatment that could change their lives.
That's why Eye Care Everywhere means meeting people where they are.
When you give today, you help reach people through community programs.
By strengthening local health facilities, equipping frontline teams, and providing practical tools like bicycles and ophthalmic equipment, Orbis and our partners are helping eye care workers reach more children and families. With that support, eye care workers can diagnose problems earlier and deliver timely treatment—especially in rural and hard‑to‑reach areas.
Families in Ethiopia are receiving antibiotic treatment to prevent the spread of trachoma, one of the leading causes of blindness worldwide. Our teams are there right now, working to end this painful and contagious disease. The outreach teams go door-to-door, delivering antibiotics or referring patients for surgery. But to continue to deliver the treatment safely, we need your help to provide equipment for our outreach workers.
We couldn't do any of this without the help of supporters like you. Together, we’re not only restoring sight—we’re opening doors to education, opportunity, and a brighter future for communities.
